The Korean word for racket is 'chae'. Chae means the original fine bamboo. In Korean, 'fan' means a tool that generates wind by using the word 'bu' meaning that it is blown by hand. 'Chap' means a tool with a thin wooden rod or duck skin attached to the end of the branches used to beat horses or cows. 안전 토토사이트

Each sport has a different English name. A club used in tennis or badminton is called a racket, and a club used in hockey is called a stick. Golf clubs refer to the club. (Refer to the 29th edition of this section, "Why is a club called a 'Golf Club?')

Although its etymology is unclear, it is assumed to be derived from the Arabic word "Rahat," according to English word dictionaries. The word originated from the game Tchigan used in Persia in the fourth century. "Rahat" means the palm in Arabic. Originally, it was 1.2 meters long in the shape of a palm. It was introduced to France by Europeans who returned from a medieval crusade, and was transformed into a wooden spatula racket from around the 14th century, before being used for the first time in the mid-16th century as a racket woven with a string on a triangular frame. The English word "racket" was derived from the medieval French word "Rachasser" and was said to have been used in England since the 19th century.

According to the rules of the Badminton World Federation, a badminton racket should consist of a handle, a string side, a head, a shaft, a throw (neck), and a frame (handle). The frame of the racket should have a total length of 680 mm including the handle part, and a total width of 230 mm. The string part should have a total length of 280 mm and a width of 220 mm.

Korean media often used the term "badminton club" in the 1960s. Since the late 1960s, the word "badminton racket" has been used instead of "badminton club." The Maeil Business Newspaper's Aug. 26, 1968 article, "Badminton racket is usually made of six pieces and made by twisting many layers of nylon yarn." Currently, badminton racket is made of carbon graphite and is mostly made of lightweight and high-tech materials. Recently, titanium-based racket has also been released on the market. People still use the word "Badminton club" more often than badminton racket.
